What we collect
- Your name, login ID, email address and mobile number, when you create an account.
- Your plan, payment dates, amounts and payment reference, when you pay.
- A code that identifies your PC (not your files), so your licence works on one PC.
- The time you last signed in.
What we do not collect
- Your password. It is stored scrambled by Google Firebase and nobody, including us, can read it.
- Your Upstox token, scans, watchlist or demo trades. These stay on your PC.
- Your bank or card details. You pay through your own bank or UPI app.
Why we use it
Only to run your account: to confirm your email, switch your plan on, remind you to renew, and help you when you contact us. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
Where it is stored
Account data is kept in Google Firebase in Mumbai (asia-south1). We may keep an Excel copy of the client list on our own computer for records.
How long we keep it
While your account is open, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting rules require.
